Welcome to The Latch Studio. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our services. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. Services Provided

The Latch Studio provides lactation consulting services, including but not limited to in-home consultations, virtual/telehealth visits, and pump fitting consultations. Our services are provided by Ingried Albisu, MSN, APRN, NNP-BC, a licensed neonatal nurse practitioner who is board-eligible for the IBCLC examination.

Our services are intended to provide breastfeeding and lactation support and education. They are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a licensed physician or other qualified healthcare provider. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

2. Appointments & Scheduling

Appointments may be scheduled through our SimplePractice portal or by contacting us directly. By scheduling an appointment, you agree to the following:

• You will provide accurate and complete information when booking an appointment.
• You are responsible for attending your scheduled appointment at the agreed-upon time.
• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.
• Late cancellations (less than 24 hours) or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee.

3. Payment Terms

The Latch Studio is currently a self-pay practice. Full payment is expected at the time of booking your appointment. We accept cash, credit cards, and other standard payment methods.

We are currently in the process of credentialling with insurance companies. While we do not bill insurance directly at this time, we are happy to provide a superbill upon request, which you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and is subject to your individual insurance plan and coverage.

Service pricing is as follows and is subject to change with reasonable notice:

• In-Home Consultation: $225
• Virtual/Telehealth Visit: $200
• Pump Fitting (Telehealth): $100

4. Telehealth Services

Virtual/telehealth consultations are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. By using our telehealth services, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Telehealth has limitations compared to in-person consultations and may not be appropriate for all situations.
• You are responsible for ensuring a private, quiet environment and a stable internet connection for your telehealth appointment.
• Technical difficulties may occur and are not grounds for a refund, though we will make every effort to reschedule.
• You consent to receiving healthcare services via electronic communication.

5. Privacy & HIPAA Compliance

The Latch Studio is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). All personal health information collected during the course of our services is handled in accordance with applicable federal and state privacy laws.

6. Informed Consent

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have been informed about the nature of lactation consulting services, the potential benefits and risks, and alternative options. You consent to receive lactation support and education from The Latch Studio. You understand that results may vary and that no specific outcomes are guaranteed.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Latch Studio and its practitioners shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or reliance on information provided during consultations.

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee specific results from our consultations or services.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of The Latch Studio and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our prior written consent.

9. Website Use
